Infloor

An In-Floor cleaning system from Polaris, once installed, is a maintenance dream.  All you need to do is operate your pump daily and the pool and/or spa is kept clean with little or no effort.

Installation is an exacting and time consuming process.  Here we can demonstrate a few of the steps necessary.

Once the pool is excavated plumbing lines, that will eventually connect to the pop-up heads, are laid and formed to conform to the contours of the pool.  The position of these pipes are carefully mapped out by Polaris on computers that take into account slopes, steps, benches, attached spa, etc.

This pool also has a "Leaf Trapper"  system designed to remove larger objects such as (oddly enough) leaves, bugs, and other debris to an easy to clean basket up at the deck level of the pool.  Here we can see the drains that collect these items.

The water needed to power this system is provided from a standard swimming pool pump, sized appropriately to the pool.  A manifold system operates the heads in proper sequence, much like an irrigation system.

Here the pool has been shot and and the heads of the Ultra-Flex System are visible, these will be cut to size at a later date.

Looking closely you may be able to see most of the 26 heads on this project.

The raised wall section shown here will be a "Power Fall" water feature, providing a dramatic element to the poolscape.  The pipes visible behind the wall are for the Ulta-Flex System and will be hidden from view by this water feature.
